Camera good, waves bad. My first little experiment with the GoPRO HD Surf Hero. Paulo Prietto, Harley Nelson and friends skimboarding in some really bad waves at West Street in Laguna Beach, California.

@jjwag92 you can buy a screen for 80 bucks, it drains battery fasted but comes with all types of back hatches to accomodate it.

I'm sorry, but this song really doesn't fit the vid. 311- amber would have been a better choice imo.

Is there any way around the mp4 issue. I have premiere pro and it absolutely will not touch mp4 until i convert to another format....

@SkimI3oarder1 I dunno about on a PC... I still have to transcode on a mac. there's a good program called mpg stream clip that can pretty quickly transcode mp4 files into something that's usable for editing.

You don't know me but i guess my dad met ur dad at a conference. The Go Pro Hd camera looks pretty good for its price but how do u like it?

@Madinator6 ha, cool, Yeah I like it, shoots great, but it takes a fair amount of know how and tinkering to get good results... ie... shooting in 60p mode, then transcoding it from mp4 to an mov, then conforming it to 24p wth cinema tools to get the nice smooth slow motion... bit of a process. But nothing comes close to its quality given it's size.
