  • I hold the pedal through the continued harmonies as marked. I don't use the printed fingering usually - generally I'm doing 1-2-1-2-5-2-1; I finger the lower fifth with 5 and 3. Hope that helps...

  • Thankyou for that, I'm trying this fingering now it seems to work well

  • I wondered which pedalling you use ? It sounds like you're cleaning each new harmony rather than the Liszt pedalling when he pedals through six or more bars with changing harmonies ,.... As I said , the result is beautiful Would you recommend the Liszt LH fingering for a v small hand . I can't physically join the lower Eflat A flat with 4 and 5 , but using a lateral wrist movement, and a sort of pivot on 4 ,I seem to be able to make it sound fairly smooth in the pedal ...

  • Beautiful interpretation ,you have fantastic control to obtain this equisite pianissimo LH

Love the colours in the modulations .

  • A true Lisztian! Fabulous interpretations!
