On world habitat day Amnesty International members across the world and a number of partner organizations in Africa campaign to stop forced evictions in Africa.
Simeon Mawanza, Amnesty International Africa Researcher narrates this short web film shows the shocking story of families whose homes were destroyed following decisions by governments in various countries in Africa. Officials often remove them against their will using excessive force and provide no compensation for the loss of their homes and possessions.
