Speaker driver 1 is an excellent good value speaker which works well in the rear horn loaded Acousta and open baffles above 100Hz. Driver 2 has different characteristics, possibly smoother bass in open baffles without an auxiliary bass driver. Driver 3 is a mid-price unit with a large magnet and it performs well in rear or front horn loaded use and in open and infinite baffles. The fourth is a Lowther PM6C and the fifth is a PM2C fitted with the newer model phase plug. These are in a Lowther Acousta cabinet which develops good bass from the rear of the speaker driver unit.
