This time lapse spans 2½ weeks of spring during which the snow melts and occasionally returns for a brief visit. Notice how nights get shorter; by the end there's only a couple of hours of darkness left, and in reality they are not quite dark as the camera makes them look.

  • Very cool video!

  • Looks like late March-early April here in Altoona, PA. Usually we get our last big snowstorms in early March and then in late March it warms into the 40s but occasionally cools off and snows again, and we usually get one last snowstorm in early April before all's said and done.

  • Hmmm, that looks like it might have been taken from the geophyiscal building. Wonderful elapse time presentation.

  • wow, i didnt realize how many times the snow came and left this spring. i remember it being a late spring but this puts it all into 3 mintutes.

    awesome vid.
