  • What muffler are you using??

  • @NoMoreAmerica

Jtec for G-62 I had to mount the engine a few degrees from straight up and down to get it to fit without hacking the cowling up. But it works fine.

  • i am building the 60 size kit, and using robart 606 retracts, i noticed you didnt have the shaped wooden side things that go on the retracts, is it really worth it to cut that out or do most people just put that on if they are using fixed gear. im thinking about just having the wire showing

  • @claytonjester

If you fly it all of the time like i do, the are hard to keep on but they do look more scale.

  • I will start building mine in about a week. what engine did you use for this 63" size. im thinking i should get the OS .91 fs, will that be enough?

  • I have an os 120 pumped engine in mine and it flys great. I flew a friends Topflite P-51 .60 size with an os 91 and it needed more power. I would reccomend using a 120 especially if you are using retracts.

  • Was this a kit or can i get it as an arf ?

  • Great flight. I have the same plane and it runs like a dream. It has an os 120ax. Glow in it.

  • great landing !

  • @aviationclayton If i were you I'd put a saito 125 in it, cause I have a hanger 9 p-51 that is 65" and it has a saito 125.

the 125 is lighter than a 120 . but gasoline eng are the best !!

  • sweet plane. sounds awesome.

    Keep flyin...

  • There are only 2 flying Razorback P-47 Thunderbolts out of 9 airworthy examples existing. They are Curtiss built P-47Gs which were only used domestically for training and never saw combat. One is owned by Planes of Fame in Chino, CA the other by The Imperial War Museum in Duxford, England. The latter is being extensively rebuilt.

  • @rcmag1000 yeah, i have been working on mine for 6 months, i havent built/covered a plane in 6 years, i mean its still gonna look great but not as good as professionals. im so ready to fly it.
