@armourmetals This was actually sent to the wrong person. Please forgive me. It was directed at another user hence the comment doesn't match up to your question. I'm very sorry. Antd I will remove this after you see my public apology

@kennethdsm1 From greedy internet know it alls. Lol

@ShaneMSnyder It actually helps insulate your house. you may want to put down a moisture barrier but I wouldn't.

@PlayedYou73 Excuse me expert, how long before the roof starts to rust? Why cant videos be found of this rusting you speak of? I bet i could go back to the roof and remove panels and they would still be bone white. Metal and asphalt contract and expand at the same rate.

Thanks for your opinion sir. I really am sure you know more than me so I will mention this in the next video. Oh wait I mentioned it in this video. Read the full description.

you should always take the old shingles off first-this is a cheap,half-ass way to install metal panel roofing.

@PlayedYou73 You hve to screw them in the valleys as the washer on the screws flatten out to the diameter of the washer on the screw and creates a water tight seal. If you screw them in the "peaks" you can's flatten out the washer creating that seal. It'll tend to leak if you install them in the "peaks."

I've read conflicting accounts, that when you screw the roof segments down, the screws should be placed on the 'peak' point and not the 'valley' point of the panel. If you put it in the 'valley' , you're creating a hole where water is running thru anyway, and over time this might be a problem I've heard (which makes sense). It looks like you are screwing the valleys in some points here. Can you comment on this please and whether it makes a difference?
To start you dont lay metal directly over shingles. The vents do not vent thru the ribs there is no draw to allow the metal to do so. watch out for rip off roofers because they will lie to you everytime. the only thing this video shows is how not to lay metal on a roof.

@Realmetalroofer88 I believe it. I guess these Ag panels are air tight now. Thanks for your opinion

deep gold or darker color brown earthtones w/ some added dormers look better for a house. I mean let's try not make our homes look like little red roof barn's
