With total respect to groups that do try to preserve the ways of other cultures and communities, there are many things we all need to remember when affecting our kinship or connection to another culture. Where we think we might help, we might be hurting.

  • that was great. especially as you got to your end of your lecture and found that nice ending. I touched me in a lot of ways because i once was really into native american culture. i even had a name for myself CBS, country brother´s sioux. but in the end like you say at the very beginning i am an individual in the first place. and that´s how i am living today. after all i cherished my day a lot today after being to a berlin political prison of the GDR. plus the person who led us around was an ex.

  • @noigebaue It's difficult to find meaning and purpose in the world today, especially after hardship or feeling as if you have no place that you fit in. I do believe that anyone can still be a part of whatever inspires them, and feel a conectiveness to a deeper spirituality. Sharing with others that selflessly nurture a sense of community and respect, makes it that much more powerful and will have more meaning in our lives, especially when approached with no pretense, and as an individual.
