Delbert is a living legend period! I met him in Austin and had an opportunity to party with him and he is one hell of a guy!! I've been hooked on his music since the first time I heard him sing. The guy even opened shows for the Beatles!! Yup! thats right the Beatles....he even taught John Lenon how to play the harmonica!!!

It sounds like you speak from first hand experience. I completely agree with you that he's a hell of a nice guy but can't be sure he'll be among the LAST American legends, he is truly an American treasure a legend if you will but to me Delbert is a hero and an inspiration and has become an icon of the music he loves and to the people who listen to it.

You've got great taste, Delbert can have that effect on ya. He's well respected by everyone who knows him and his music inspires most who listen to him, myself included. Can't say enough great things about Mr McClinton, but won't stop tryin.
