Bryan Wynter (BW) - Governor of the Jamaican Central Bank.

I'm a part of a mission to make presentations on the Jamaican economy and to persons interested in investing in Jamaica

Joan Edwards(JE) Acting High Commissioner of Jamaica.
I also participated in the second investment seminar with Mr Wynter.

Q.What brings you here tonight and how did you hear about Chef Collin Browns Restaurant.

JE.
We heard about it through the Trade Commissioner , Mr Lawrence Jones whose a regular patron of this restaurant and It's caribbean restaurant one of the few that we have that serves authentic cuisine.

It's my first time here and my experience here has been a very good one, I enjoyed the fare and the presentation and one the things that it shows me is that Jamaicans food In terms of our culture, our creative industries, its one of our assets .and its something we should capitalise on and leverage and tonight we will be main proponents of Chef Collin Brown food here in London because this something that is selling something authentic and which is Jamaican.

BW
Well the food was delicious, the company, the presentation was wonderful, but I cant credit him with the company.

I can credit the food presentation and ambience.

Q.One of the things your currently involved in, is getting people to invest in jamaica especially the agricultural economy to create local jobs and grow for exports.

It's very important, investment that links Uk and Jamaica is only building on an existing relationship its very important and pleasure.

I think its a huge opportunity potential to export to larger markets. Collin Browns curried goat tonight took me to new level in curried goat.

So you can even take local food and local and transform and still remains authentic. I think its very interesting for Caribbean nationals and Non Jamaicans to enjoy this food as well.
