  • @DEATHBYFLYINGCDS shh, this is youtube, where conspiracy theories thrive on baseless assumptions alone :)

  • @MucusFelidae The humming of electric pylons, is scary even though I am 42 and the humming sounds like the Cybermens voices in Dr Who.

  • Standing under pylons in the rain won't cause you to be shocked or electrocuted.

As for the video, it does sound like that pylon has a fault as you can hear the corona quite loudly and the cloud isn't low enough to cause interference.

Btw, I work in the electricity distribution business.

  • when you are under the wires when it rains, can you be electricuted, please i must know thx?

  • when my brother lived in Redondo Beach, California in the late 80's to early and mid 90's, you could hear the power lines above the street making this 'hissing' sound. didn't sound good!

  • @JimiDelicious It doesn't cause cancer, if being near that caused cancer, then simply being on earth would guarantee you cancer, since the electromagnetic field of the earth is astronomically more powerful than that of power lines.

  • kako zuji a bezopasno

  • warp gates active... the electrons are spewing everywhere. you didn't expose yourself to this did you? i am just kidding. i don't understand this phenomenon. - Doug Rochford

  • Very high humidity like in Florida will make the lines crackle continuously even with no rain. Lived in Clearwater FL in the 90s (Tampa Bay), had plenty of mornings with temps 74-78F and dew points over 70.
