@dizzypeanut yeah, there is a characteristic of wynton where he jumps into soloing and it just sounds like the same solo. this guy is really digging. of course, the leaps and bounds wynton has made in his music is something really attractive to me.
@SuperYouGerT The difference is that Swana makes the changes and Wynton just BSes in tonal centers. Hes a great technician and dont get me wrong I love a lot of his albums, but Swana would kick his ass any day of the week when it comes to playing straight ahead.
oh man... this is so sweet. I listen to a lot of wynton marsalis, but i didn't realize there were other players who could really match virtuosity. fantastic.
