No matter how great you are, you can't do extremely marvelous in EVERY album, and number of copies sold doesn't represent her greatness. Jolin sold so much more and was even better than Jay & also better than Amei's recent album ? That means she's better than her?

The main point of all this is, this video is like years ago. She definitely improved alot now, look at her latest videos lah, like when she sang "When You're Gone" By Avril Lavigne, no Amei style at all. I just want to say, by time passes, everyone can improve, do not judge anythin by the way they are now. Plus, Amei's first album indeed sold really good, but if you comapare her album's number of copies sold and her old ones, obviously it's not as great as last time.

唱片界 還有音樂人和媒體界封的 當然他現在是沒有蔡依林紅拉 但是路線不同 蔡依林是走 寶兒 安室奈美惠 小甜甜布蘭妮的偶像歌舞路線 共通點就是舞跳的很好 歌聲很普通 但卻是少男少女的偶像 是青少年模仿的對象 好像現在真正會唱歌的都紅不過偶像歌舞派的明星 像日本的米希亞 紅不過安室 濱崎步 美國現在也是一大堆偶像 比瑪麗亞凱莉 等歌聲實力派 紅 真不知為什麼 應該現在唱片都是青少年在買的

I agree. Positive changes like an entirely superior vocal performance count for something in my book, although they don't seem to in yours.

As for record sales, you really don't want to open that can of worms. If we're going by that marker, Britney Spears is about 10 times better than A-mei is and ever will be.

As I said, I've been to several A-mei concerts, and I've never heard it done better than this girl here. It's not just her making a few pitches different, it's the entire vocal performance that's stronger.

Ah so that's it? Tell me then. What's so unique about A-mei's rendition. Because fact of the matter is, there's nothing particularly unique about the arrangement, or the singing style, or anything about it. It's a pretty straightforward cliche pop ballad that everyone has heard hundreds of times. If you're trying to tell us A-mei's version is better, you'll have to do better than saying it's somehow unique or innovative, because fact of the matter is that it isn't any of those by a long shot.
