Avengers is a popular DC Comic series... It is a team of superheroes including Iron man and Captain America led by Fury (played by the one eyed guy)... Mind you, Hulk was not exactly one of them.. As a matter of fact, in many series of the comics, the avengers' main mission was to stop/destroy the hulk, which they so desperately failed in.. Hulk was too powerful even for the whole avengers team combined...

I am surprised u've never heard of it... Their popular line "avengers assemble"

THe only one in the marvel univers who can truly destroy the hulk is galactus....he could just blink the whole marvel univers out of exsitance but marvel wants to keep things fair....

IDK how.. but hulk seems so much resistant to magic as well.. unlike superman :P
