This is what Tron looks like once you get out past the city limits. Folks out here were a little sorry to see MCP get kicked out. He was tough, yeah, but he kept us safe from hackers. Flynn's always been soft on foreign policy.

My favorite jeans commercial was out around
l976 and it was "Live in Britannia" (not that crappy country version). I can hear it in my head as I write. Came out the same time as the "200 million people, no 2 are quite the same" commercial for Burger king.

This kind of animation is called rotoscoping. The reason it looks so lifelike is because, well, it is: animators pencil and ink over live-action film of actual people. It's considered a time and money saver in the industry; so it wasn't as innovative or groundbreaking for Levi's perhaps as you think it is. Bakshi used it a lot in his version of LOTR to save money. Stylistically that later came back to haunt him.
