Disney thought of this as the best thing they can make that was like the Main Street Electrical Parade but know that look at it with shame. They will never use the name " Light Magic " again

Irideon was originally the architectural division of Vari*lite. The AR 5 was basically a baby VL-5, using a miniature version of the VL-5's radial dichroic color mixing system, and a 35w or 50w arc source. The Irideon division was sold to ETC in the late 1990's, but Vari-lite developed the product line, including the AR-5 shown in this video.

@lightingtech88 OH!!! I didn't know!
-
That fixture pictured wasn't made by Vari-Lite.
It's a Irideon AR5. Those fixtures were located on the parade floats.
Light Magic used a system of Vari-Lite VL6's throughout the parade route lighting towers.

What Vari*Lite model was that @ 0:30?

We had to remove the masks cause children found them scary.

IDK about y'all, but I would gladly wait 2 hours on Main Street JUST to see :58 - 1:00 live.... Or, in other words: LIGHT MAGIC WAS THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO MAIN STREET USA SINCE WALT DISNEY WALKED ON IT!!! =-D

I think the biggest problem with this show was that it was just that. A show and nothing more. It belonged on a stage, not the parade route.
