I don't know about you, but I always heard about superstition where I grew up, but I was not afraid of black cats. As a child a black cat was just an animal like an other: The fur is so beautiful.

I think the old women hating/suppressing men twisted the truth about why women who practiced craft, knowledge, or any other form of intelligence, did what they did. A black cat is only bad luck if you do harm to him or her. Cat's are suppose to chase away evil, especially black cats. A black cat is a really lucky find! If you want a sweety (man) or want to protect your man when he's away, keep a black cat home safe, sound and well loved/spoiled. His chances of coming home alive should increase.
