From Brain-Terminal.com: President Bush's re-election left some Americans distraught and depressed. And with Inauguration Day set to rub salt in those still-healing wounds, I decided to act in the interest of national unity and extend an olive branch across the great Red/Blue divide. The election may not have gone the way the Inaugural protesters wanted, but at least I could make sure they didn't leave Washington empty-handed; thanks to the folks at HeroBuilders.com, I had some nice consolation prizes to give away. Would my overtures of peace be rebuffed? Can simple kindness stave off the revolution that some disgrunted Democrats predict?

  • Boy, I sure am glad those lefties rose up and dethroned that tyrant Bush... oh wait! 4 years later, the irony is so thick in this video it would take a chainsaw to cut it!

Complaining about $40 mil during a time of economic prosperity and low unemployment, compared to $170 during a huge economic recession for inaugurations... people with swastikas on their signs calling Bush a Nazi, and now the Democrats are calling opponents of Obama's medicare bill Nazis!

  • This is what happeneds when you give trophies to last place kids soccer teams. People do not learn how to lose anymore. That's what these libs are poor losers.

  • @TheSweetxsarah Oh, my liberal friend. Once again you are missing the WHOLE point. These people are protesting that they "lost" the election. They wanted Kerry and lost fair and square. If your side loses an election you look to see what you can do to win the next election. You don't go out in the street and cry about it. My original point, "This is what happeneds when you give trophies to last place kids soccer teams. People do not learn how to lose anymore. Poor losers

  • @justlikepriest I have no problem admitting I'm a Democrat but I do agree with some republican views, also I think we've had some great republican presidents, Eisenhower for ex. I still agree with Obama, I understand that a president can't step into a shit hole and make it smell like roses. So election time I'll probably vote for him again. But I don't see what this has to do with my thoughts on peoples right to protest??

  • @TheSweetxsarah political preference has nothing to do with this? This has every thing to do with "political preference"! That's what I love about you Libs , you don't want to admit you are a Lib. How many right-wingers are in this crowd? And, ya ya ya, we all know how much Bush spent, no one is happy about that. B.I.O.B, right? So, I notice you didn't awnser the question about how the "hope and change' is going?

  • @justlikepriest first of all my political preference has nothing to do with this, I said that people have the right to stand against things they don't agree with. And by the way republicans voted in bush ... that didn't work out to good either... he raised our debt ceiling 7 times during his 8 yrs... Also when Bush took office, the national debt was $5.73 trillion. When he left, it was $10.7 trillion. That's a difference of $4.97 trillion, so it's not just democrats

  • All I hear is a bunch of bitching

  • @TheSweetxsarah You Libs got the country to vote for the "Hope and Change" in 2008. So, how is that hope and change working for you?

  • @justlikepriest well this wasn't 200 this was 2005, the second election, and no I don't think people should just cry about it, if you want to make change you have to stand up and demand it. That what these people were trying to do, I feel that people have that right whether the person in office is who they voted or not. There is always things that people believe need changed.

  • @Stompinstein There is a winner and a loser. It is not right or wrong, unlees you are one of those people how feel Bush stoled the election. In 2000 BOTH Gore and Bush were playing the lawyer game. There was three recounts and Bush still was ahead after the three recounts. The New York Times, (a right wing paper, right?) took a look at the election and still Bush won. So, you are ok with people that don't get there way to cry about it?

  • @justlikepriest calling these people poor losers for actually protesting something they disagree with, that's ridiculous. People who actually say no this is wrong and I'm going to let my voice be heard, those people are what america was built on. Those are the people who bring about change in all countries...

  • Yeah, most of these people are dumb as shit, but they were right about a few things. Karl Rove is the only reason Bush got re-elected.
