  • The biggest scandal in economics is the fact that there's a HUGE conspiracy of silence in economics classes- they don't question the Federal Reserve. I know. I took 3 basic econ classes, and all 3 textbooks just parroted the party line. None of them said "Well, others say that it's not good for the economy." They just accepted the statist explanation.

None of my textbooks mentioned even a WORD of Austrian economics! It's ridiculous.

  • I'd like to see this guy debate Bernanke, who claims he is an expert on the Great Depression. I've got a feeling Mr. Reed would do okay.

  • HAHA AND PEOPLE COMPARE RONALD REAGAN TO FDR. are we all republicans here? even a hardcore democrat would like Ronald Reagan better after this video. outstanding, i was blown away. i am going to look deeper into the FED after watching this!

  • @whoo689 I know the feeling man, im doing economics at uni in England, and it is all Keynes Keynes Keynes... I even emailed the tutors and they say that it is only Keynesianism. Incredibly disappointing...

  • @whoo689 Your so right. I am at university in my second year in the UK, and it is all neoclassical Keynesian nonsense. One of the reasons i think, is because it is the most closely related theory of economics to politics. What i mean is, governments love power, and they love to grow. The only mainstream theory of economics which allows this is Keynesianism: Socialism obviously does not work, so is not popular enough, Keynes provided politicians with the perfect recipe

  • wait, but in history class we're taught that FDR was the hero that brought america out of the depression!

  • Austrian economics is da best!!

  • Fantastic. What a channel.

  • Our stupidity continues to grow - haven't we learned from these mistakes

  • Instead of another Obama news conference, the US public should see Reed take on Bernanke. Then the sheep would learn the truth of the blatant manipulation going on by the Fed and send the message to Congress to dump it.

  • Arrested in some central-american banana republic?

Sounds pretty dangerous to me! Tucker never struck me as an Indiana Jones type. :^)
