Here's a sample of a quick drawing (actual completion: 10 minutes). The point here is practicing "quick & dirty" sketches (i.e., overlapping lines, erasures, informal perspective, etc.) to visualize a design concept in the quickest time possible. Hope you can learn something from this sample sketch. Thanks! :)

  • Is this something you would add to a portfolio for architecture?

  • @PakiiD1Me786 it depends. if you want the story-line and conceptualization stage portfolio then yes. but if you're talking about final presentation and realistic rendering techniques, then no. please read the description of the video to enlighten you more. thanks.

  • Don't see where all of this hate is coming from. I draw from point perspectives but can comprehend that this sketch is obviously about being abstract and not re-doing to perfection, but flowing etc. people are idiots.

  • @SolarEmpireHQ yes you hit it right to the point! it's supposed to be flowing! no hesitation. just continuously translating whatever idea or vision we are imagining. thanks for the comment and watching the vid! :)

  • A good sketch indeed. But at the end was too much

2:44 was just perfect in my opinion

  • @danslesilence Thanks for the comment! I share the same observation :)

  • @bastardtubeuser thanks for the comment! i'm glad you appreciate the art. :)

  • @datanotions thanks!!! :)

  • @datanotions this is a sketch while conceptualizing on the fly from scratch - a pure form of an idea or a vision that is running through one's mind putting it on a piece of paper without hesitation, without re-thinking, without erasures, without re-doing. This is not a formal architectural presentation but an informal representation of what we are thinking for 10 minutes at that point in time. once you have your pure idea and vision, that's the only time you modify and enhance.

  • @vicpino can you please expound your comment?
