  • La mejor version jamas escuchada!! ♥

  • @trulr U r wrong . Georgi is the name. Joro is the nickname of Georgi when in third person. Jore or Djore is second person diminutive form . Second in the old days and even now the guy gives the girl a gift whether a motley sock or a motley apron or anything that he has made especially for her . When she accepts it this means that she likes him too and he needs to ask her father if he can take her for a bride.

  • Wrong translation/interpretation of the meaning:

Djore is a girl and she is knitting a multicoloured sock in her doorway. Her girlfriends are teasing her.

    - Who's the sock for?

-Whoever wants me gets the sock!

Ref: You crazy Djore Dos, you are crazy Djore!

  • She have very good voice and them too also!

  • The veteran Bulgarian vocalist Yanka Roupkina sings, "Dzhore dos," a Bulgarian folk song from the Shopp/Torlak region.

  • @mirabelbel Someone told me yesterday that it is about a man knitting socks after all and she even went into the grammar etc, now I am confused but It probably doesn't matter who knits the socks, it's great that people knit socks at all, the ones from M&S never last....

  • @dunavuk thank you for what you wrote, have a nice day! :)))

  • @mirabelbel We picked up on this years ago. There was a huge interest in Bulgarian music in the UK in the '80s, when this programme was made. This is surely to our credit! With the language difference, of course, there is a chance of mistakes made.

There does seems to be a very careless mistake by the programme makers not to be sure of the facts on a major TV station and in his/her juvenile way she was probably feeling a wrong had to be righted !!

  • @strawberryshtcake101 why so so hard on them? just say that there is a mistake and that`s all. Направили са клипче за Янка Рупкина - ами да се радваме :)
