Just how reliable are the Brownells AR-15/M16 20 and 30 round magazines? Watch this video to find out!
We ran our magazines through a full auto test, similar to the zero failure test that we perform to meet the conditions of our military contract. Of course they worked perfectly. We think you'll find this interesting, informative and entertaining.
I may not have a full auto ar, but I did receive these magazines for a future review. I will make an abuse test to see how well Brownells magazines hold up to abuse. Details of the abuse will not be disclosed, but expect a video soon. Be sure to subscribe to receive notification when it is released.

@80spodcastchannel ahh that makes sense. I should have listened better.
I think that many of the malfunction issues experienced with the AR platform are due to magazine problems. So I totally agree on going plastic with magazines.

@bsrman36 no they DONT run every mag...they have CONTROL groups from each lot, then if THEY fail the lot fails..and they try to find out why.
but if you want a no fail mag.just get a MAGPUL PMAG,the only thing a metal mag does better is deal with a 15 foot drop onto the feed lips.and if you did that to ANY magazine...I'd never trust it anyway.
MAGPUL's take REAL world abuse and if you ask around, it's the ONLY magazine currently being used by special forces. yes, their THAT good.

Seriously, do they really run 30 rounds for EVERY magazine they make? At today's ammo prices they'd be broke a long time ago. I smell bs.

Are they testing the mag, or actually the AR? Looks like a very "neat" environment for mag testing...not very credible to me...
