why doesn't my electric guitar chronically carry a note? I watched videos where they were doing taps with hammer-on's and when they hammered on the E string on the 13th fret it just kept ringing.

@MrTinkibell what are you talking about? are you referring to the power chords with an octave of the root and a fifth, because thats really just adding and octave. this is really all there is to it

@trapwebs23 no such thing mate. The whole point of a power chord is 2 eliminate any minor or major thirds and really pronounce the root note. It consists of the 1st, 5th notes, the same in both minor and major scales.
