@Corpseplower I thought your first reply was funny--the scooping from the toilet--then your second seemed semi-serious.I was admittedly snarky in my reply, but mostly because "clean"mileage varies and people take for granted too much (take "pure" Scandinavia, where I got listeria poisoning, uberhappy GI tract!).We're super-lucky we CAN clean the water,but we also lost our immune response to "normal" critters in killing the things that killed us a century ago.Live/learn/don't trust the natives :)

@122172639 I'd originally posted the first comment in this set of responses as a needless joke (even if I was the only one to find it funny, it still counts!) but it's good to know 4 months later that it's still coming back to bite me.

But, at least your response is more informative than FutureLaugh's, which is just useless condemnation about the person in the video using a sink to gather water. Mine, joke or not, is also useless but was aimed more toward the method of gathering the water.

@Corpseplower they both went through the same pipes to get there, though, and beyond things like chlorine, fluoride, fecal coliform, yum... even if the house had titanium pipes w/platinum fittings, they still come from what in most big cities--the best upkeep--let alone mid and small town spots!--are old corroding pipes that share decades of goop including their very cores that, as they corrode, let nature seep in slowly,mmm listeria cocktail! :P We HAD good water... 35 years ago!

@AshnJuls I've seen over a dozen reviews and comments ON reviews (ppl who didn't review themselves) saying plenty of people's handles break... quality control issue I am guessing--and I know WHY it would have the issue--the metal overall is graded 18/10 but the source and alloy mix still matters and the combination of components will make two supposedly identical SS pots made in the same factory etc completely different JUST because the alloys aren't consistent. SS goods made in China= HORRID!
