it's never really settings, it's more of the idea of having control. I'd ask what distortions or overdrive if he was using. I for one use distortion and then back it up with an over drive on the clean channel, and you can really come close to anything you want.

That was better than FOTD by a long way sound wise ...

The clarity was far better ,, though am surprised you never used the toggle switch like slash does on the trk .. during the solo and outgoing solo
