On June 27th the Danish Architecture Centre presents the opening of the exhibition BUILDING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES. Here SLA appears among the 21 contributing Danish companies. The exhibition displays current examples of how architects, planners and engineers take social and ethical responsibility in the pursuit of creating sustainable living conditions all over the world.
Let's Not Talk About Aesthetics shows new footage of SLAs work on the new Elephant House in Copenhagen Zoo. A project done in dense collaboration with Norman Foster Architects. The movie also gives impressions on several other projects located in Denmark, Norway, England and Ireland, and a rare insight in the processes going on behind the scenes of the office's architectural production.
