Do you find your not catching as much fine smaller mesh gold as your 2 inch ?

@jasavak actualy i found more. i was able to work deeper and in more greater suction as to pull out finer gold deep in cracks that i could not work before. the trick to a larger dredge is to keep a eye on the trim of the level as you use it.

Does anyone know what the status is on that bill? Like when open hearings etc. I live near Sacramento. If we don't show up. and voice our opinions to counter what the fishing community is saying. Then might as well turn all our dredges into yard planters or something.

@saintron60 the feds are still out to lunch, the studie needs to be completed.. and it will be till2011. then it goes through all the ho hah and legal request and then maybe we will be able to dredge again. sorry

Multi stage is just extra work. all you need to do is make sure your sluice box sit at correct inclination. No gold will escape. Happy hunting.

@saintron60 when i was down on the river i saw a triple sluice at work, and then the clean up .. i agree to much cons. after running mine i found that a little work and adjustment did the trick. thanks for your comment. wish i could dredge again here in calif.. damm sb670 bill.

i am very happy with what it can do. but.. see if you can get a bigger motor then what i have.. my motor is fine but a little more horse would be nice. i am happy to with watch it can do . but check into more on the sluice box. i bought the single box for mine because i heard the the triple layer one load up easy with black sand and tends to sink the dredge.??? dont know for sure though!

thanks for that where i am thers a lot of rivers within 1-2hrs drive all differnt so im thinkn off getting the regular size to cover most conditions though no dought a smaller mini would much easer 2 move around.are you pleased with how much material the 4inch can get through?

i havnt had any problems with my mini 4 inch at all. in fact it has gone well past what i exspected. its a brut when it comes to gold getting. well worth the money! as for the difference between the reg and mini . i would take a long look at what area you are running , conditions and so on. if you look at my other videos you can see what i put mine though. but i will add the mini is better for slow or med running rivers or large creeks. the reg, would be best under any condition.

hi the dredge looks the part does it preform? im looking at getting the same though was thinking of getting the standed size whats your thoughts on the 2?
