    One-Two-thousand scattered. Two-Zero-Thousand Broken

  • whats are the cloud levels she says during the ATIS. i know she says scattered and broken but i cant understand what numbers she gives with them

  • o.O Humm.. listening again, it sounds like you're right. Whoops.. lol. The wind was no factor when I actually took-off, I remember, until I had climbed to a few hundred feet, where I encountered heavy wind-sheer.. Oh well. hehe.

  • Thought thats what the controller said when you got your clearance, congrats on the ppl.

  • Well if I recall, my limitations from the club were 7KT direct crosswind, and from my CFI it was.. 5KTs? I don't recall as I don't have my logbook in front of me, and I've since gotten my private. Incidentally, where did you get the 280@26G32? The ATIS in the video says 270@15. And with a runway heading of 290, it's well within XWind limitations.

  • winds 280@26 g32, what kind of wind restrictions does your cfi have?
