  • Two Vic Firth artists playing at the IP booth.

  • They are not pricks. i happen to know both jeff and nick and have studied under nick. Both of them are dedicated to their chosen profession and both are some of the best teachers of drumming i have ever had the pleasure to know. Just i am loyal to Eric Craft and Tim Faribanks ( two others i have studied under) i am also loyal to Nick and Jeff. these men have more heart and passion in thier left hand than you can ever hope to have in this or any lifetime.

  • congrats on your accomplishments and thanks for complimenting my attitude, but if you see him as a good mentor than your just as close - minded as jeff and several people ive studied under. but i guess you have more experience and and better accomplishments than me so i wont argue any more. Id really like to know who im talking to now that youve said that you have written for such experienced groups.

  • btw. nick is the new caption head for madison scouts where tom hanum and jim ancona are writing this year. he must be a horrible instructor if he got that gig.

  • you really don't know your head from your ass do ya? nick is very good friend, mentor, and collegue of mine.Even though this isn't about me. Heres what I've done. I've achieved a DCI ring, wrote for, taught, and performed with some of the best performing concert and marching percussion ensembles in the country. Good luck with your high hopes in the new york phil. you sure do seem to have a winning attitude. sounds like all your good at is bashing others. hope it works out for ya.

  • no, its because their both full of themselves and they cant fuckin teach. Im pretty sure im as talented as i want to be at this point in my life, but my goals are much higher than either one of these guys will ever accomplish (i.e. tapping for phantom regiment, drumming in the UNT one 'o clock, and becoming a member of the New York philharmonic) what goals do you hope to accomplish if im such a "no talent ass clown"?

  • it's probably because your a no talent ass clown.

  • and he is not a skilled or smart drumline instructor.

he might be good at teaching individual lessons though, I don't know.

  • i performed with nick at the 2009 NYC pas event.. he is very much so a nice guy

  • never met jeff, but nick is not a nice person.
