  • Breathing exercises don't always help me either and can make things worse since I'm probably hyperventilating. DEEPLY and SLOWLY could equal MORE PANIC.

You need to balance the CO2/Oxygen exchange in the body. Breathe SLOWLY but not necessarily deeply unless it's in a paper bag (don't use plastic!), which seems to help me greatly.

  • breathing control helps,,,try counting on the inhale such as 1 thousand 1, one thousand 2, one thousand 3, exhale to a count of four..focus on counting this will help with clearing your mind. you want to keep outside thoughts out. you must practice couple of times a day at least when you are not having anxiety.

  • @tattooyu I had it since 14 years, now I am fine I dont experience panic attack since 2 years . my experience is, dont think about panic attacks and dont give it importance, you dont need any treatment bcoz its not mental illness nor physical so The key point is that panic attacks can't harm you! lets forget it! and give time to other things instead of watching such videos

  • yeah when in walmart, im suuuuuuure this would help

  • Hey there! Have you tried anxiety zero technique (I think its at anxiety0.info)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate pretty much cured panicks with it.

  • @slash2saul Check out Buteyko Breathing Method which advocates light breathing instead of deep breathing which can actually trigger the panic attacks. Also see FreeMeditation com .

  • Alcohol helps panic attacks. I am not advocating anyone use alcohol as a treatment, but doctors used to tell people to drink to determine if it was anxiety or heart complications. Good advice though, none of those substances will help in the long run.

  • @drgabethebabe me too..

  • if you want to completely get rid of any anxiety or panic attacks...bit DOT ly/eozy8O

  • tips to avoid triggering panic attacks: dont smoke weed, tobacco or drink alcohol. weed actually made me have my first panic attack.
