Shown here is a 40-minute, 53-second-long versus match of Tetris Attack, fought between DeProgrammer and a friend whose Tetris Attack skills he previously had not known about. Included in the first ten minutes is a 21x chain (it starts at about 7:20 in the video, or about 7:13 on the game timer). Additionally, no emulator or other tools were used during the game. It was played on a real SNES, recorded on a classic VCR, dubbed to a DVD, and then copied to and edited on a computer. DeProgrammer won 6 out of 7 games against this highly skilled friend. Part 2 is located here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5__9vaVowSQ

  • Oh and by the way, there's no point in creating chains bigger than 13 in this version, as this version caps chains at 13.

  • Aside from showing skill.

  • I played my friend Mike at this game and we hit 1 hr 23 mins. The game was running so slow that we had skill chain on top of skill chain that hadn't even loaded yet before the game would recognize them. it was insane. I had a headache and my hands were cramping.

  • Two not very good players who can't finish each other off, but maybe did finish each other off afterward

  • This is the very first game I ever played/mastered. I was about 5 or 6 and it was my first love of a video game. Then there was Zelda ocarina of time.

  • DeProgammer clearly knows how to prevent "lack-of-block-itis".

  • also wer dass spiel sind brofis

  • Ahh, this reminds me of the good old days. I've had plenty of lengthy matches with one friend of mine on Tetris Attack SNES (I'll call him Friend A). I once played Friend A in Pokemon Puzzle League in a match at lasted over 45 minutes. I also had another friend (Friend B) who was watching, as we were playing on Friend B's N64. Eventually, Friend B got so pissed that he turned off the N64! LMFAO! Friend A and I jumped him afterwards. Good times.

  • unbelievable!

  • Crazy stuff, man.
