@GSheppo92 All I can is, theres a reason why there was so much controversy when Liverpool was awarded capital of culture, quite a lot of it is still a rubbish tip in need of major rejuvination

I've had the misfortune to be born and brought up in shitty Manchester, the council seem to pedal the opinion that Manchester is England's second city! Manchester has always been fur coat and no knickers.Unreliable & Expensive "CrapTram", very few interesting buildings, many slums, garbage road network, the toilet block that is the Arndale, and many other soulless new buildings. The south of Manchester gets all the money while the North is left to rot.In a nutshell Manchester doesn't measure up

yeh i dont mean that in any racist form,but i just feel that poeople who r born and bread in manchester should get priority with housing and employment etc,once the money people come into any city the locals tend to be overlooked and parts of there identity eroded,although manchester is very close nit so i dont seee that happenning

@3rk4u actually i think those who come to live in manchester are a prized possession, if it were not for them Manchester wouldn't be quite as good as it is now. Rusholme, chinatown are two obvious examples.
Manchester is an international city, I applaud that.
