  • Hangovers = Eating shitty. Once you get sober and healthy, you can focus on improving your lifestyle, and REALLY start reaping the benefits of sobriety (Or so I'm told!)

  • yeah i eat everything that i want, mostly lean meats and veggies, but i slurge here and there. and keep the portions smaller. exercise every day i can. and it works. i dont feel deprived, and when im snack-hungry i have fruit. i feel great

  • ...It's the safest, sanest way to lose fat and not lean muscle (which you will lose on a calorie restricted diet). In any case, you look fine and wish you the best of luck with getting healthier. I have no idea how terrible alcoholism must be BUT i have been an emotional eater for most of my life and that's had a very really impact on my life and health. So, yeah, 100% behind you! :-)

  • Being overweight has taught what works and what doesn't. And diets sure as hell don't. Sure you lose water and lean muscle and that looks good on the scales but you're not losing fat-in fact, dieting will hinder your bodies fat burning efficiency. Now i do a lot of working out instead. My advice would be to eat no less than 2000 calories a day (eating below your base metabolic rate will actually cause you to eventually stop losing weight.
