  • Wasn't meant to be "snarky" Lewis--just complimenting a singularly brilliant, creative and modest young man with whom I've had the pleasure of working on a number of projects. Too bad he wasn't included in the TV interviews.

  • @Waxquixotic He was not in some of the interviews because they were conducted primarily at SHS. However, I did mention, to all the reporters that I spoke to, that he was very helpful and a vital part of the team.

  • This is a very good documentary of information that a lot of people do not know about Martin Luther King which probably led to his hunger for freedom that was not practiced in the South. I've read about this a couple of years ago to my surprise but to see it as a documentary really made it even more interesting. GREAT JOB!

  • @Waxquixotic nice snarky comment.

  • Yet another brilliant production with Dylan Downes' fingerprints all over it! He is a master of mixed media. Kudos to Dylan and to those he worked with from Simsbury High School. A very poignant and revealing portrait of a man who has touched all our lives.

  • Thank you Simsbury for helping preserve this bit of history.

  • beautiful!

  • Thank you so very much for creating this beautiful piece of work, you certainly deserve an A+++. This story is fascinating and a big bravo to Simsbury (and the rest of this area) for providing a safe and nurturing environment for these young students. It is hard to imagine Dr. King was only fifteen, in college already, working such long days, and so far away from his family for so long. A very mature and inspiring man, in so many ways.

  • An absolutely wonderful and informative video. We can always learn something new and this is my new learning experience for today. Hats off to the students, faculty advisers and all those who helped to compile the historical information to be shared with everyone. Happy Birthday, Dr. King! America is still striving to make your dream a reality.
