BestArts is Dead - Long Live theBestArts!

BestArts is reborn as theBestArts...

YouTube permanently suspended our BestArts channel on 10 December, 2008. No warning or reason was given, but presumably it was for copyright infringement.

Thanks BestArts viewers - it was a great 15 month run. Our 251 videos earned:
* 3,050+ subscribers
* 1,500+ friends
* 5,000,000+ video views

Our other YouTube channels are not affected:
* BestArtsMusic
* BestArtsDance
* BestArtsFilm

Many areas of our website remain functional. We are rebuilding some of the playlists that drive http://www.theBestArts.com to repair pages that are broken.

Our new primary channel is theBestArts.

theBestArts will feature:
* our popular montage videos
* "Highlights", "College", "Young Broadway", "High School" and many additional playlists

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they did that to you. Your channel had some of the most sophisticated variety of videos pertaining to the arts and now that it's gone, I don't know what I'll do! It'd feel weird without watching Glenn Close's "Send in the Clowns" or Patti's "Being Alive".

Your channel is a gem, and Youtube should be removing the stupid porn crap instead of the art you feature.
