Suzuki LS650 Savage, modified. Start, idle and walk around

1987 Suzuki LS 650. Homemade exhaust, Sportster seat, K and N, re jetted carb, lower stiffer forks, drag bars., modified cam chain tensioner. Also junked about 50lb of useless plastic and glitz and 5 miles of unnecessary wiring. Not too bad a bike now.

Thanks for your comments. The rear fender is original and actually looks quite nice once you take off all the unneccessary hardware. I have seen these with only the front half of the seat so it might be possible to re-locate regulator.

You don't absolutely need risers but without them the bars get pretty close to the tank on full lock. OK, unless you drop the bike. I lowered the front of the tank a bit buy trimming the rubber mounts.

This is the nicest looking Savage on Youtube well done! I just bought one myself and will be putting on some drag bars, is the rear fender original or from the Sportster? I was thinking about just using the front part of the seat but the regulator is under the rear section, so I guess I need to look for an approprate new rear fender - Any ideas.
