Farout thats gets me everytime, he is right, yesterday was great,i miss so many things in my life...shame all good things come to a end, relationships (ones you dont want to end) and death of loved ones. life is a fucking depressing thing!

@Kingopersia Paulie doesn't have the same affection for the past as Rocky. He wishes he treated his sister better than he did and now that she's dead he knows he will never have the chance make right that wrong. For Rocky it's all bittersweet remembrance...he has only good memories in his head and can't LET GO...for Paulie to go back in the past is just to relive what a bad brother he was to Adrian. He wants to be there for Rocky but he can't relive the past the same way.

This scene always makes me cry, because I realize that in a way, I'm just like Rocky. Although I'm only 33, I still have fond memories of many times in my past, and would give anything to be able to relive those moments over again. I can imagine as I grow older these emotions will only grow more powerful for me. Now whenever I experience a truly happy moment, I try to hold onto it as long as I can, live in it, because you never know when things may ever be that good again.

Most people in society would reject Paulie and call him a loser and a bum, and mabe in a way he is. But Rocky understands how life can be crual on some people, everybody is not destined to have an easy life, some people do have an easy life.But there are people who don't fit into what society today calls "normal". Adrian she was also rejected by society, but Rocky understood and helped her.Rocky,does NOT represent your everyday person, he represents the ppl who society rejects.
