The THIRD version of the debut single off of the immensely successful album "Clumsy." Both the video and the album were released in 1997. The Canadian version of the video peaked at #1 on the Muchmusic Countdown for 3 weeks. (April 4,11,18 1997).
Many of you may have seen the US version of Superman's Dead with the band performing in some sort of park with a group of Joker-esque clowns running around.
When that version was released for US audiences, the record company wanted one that was focused more on the band and would be more accessible. They ended up removing the clown footage and keeping in only the band performances, akin to the US version of the Life music video.
Americans are still traumatised by IT xD

Our lady peace deserves way more acknowledgment, rain maida and the band are simply awesome, absolutely love this song, "why doesn't anybody ever know that worlds a subway ahhh: Brilliant!

@TiaPandaMakeup yeah, me too. I think that was the original Canadian video, and the American censors threw a hissy fit over the content so they refilmed the video of the U.S. release...
