A lot of time and positions to gain in better line and throttle control. One example is that you can not pass a car in front of you wile driving a blocking line. Way to slow exit and straight away speed as a result. The only time it is justified to drive a narrow line when trying to pass is if you actually can pass mid corner. In your case that was impossible

Getting on the power too late, it seems. That Miata's on the throttle before the apex, and it runs away from the OP on the exit at every corner.

coulda had him so many times, with a wider turn.. i know your so focused on the guy ahead you tend to follow his lines
