Could I just ask: why the extraordinary form was used?
I didn't know that the cathedral held masses in extraordinary form, and so it is nice to see that it is used :).

The extraordinary form was used at the request of the late David Lumsden, and was made possible by the newly appointed Administrator of the Cathedral, Mgr Michael Regan, who agreed to celebrate it (his first time). Also the first time in the Cathedral for several decades.
