Traditional Latin Mass...WHAT'S THIS?

This is a musical rendition of my very first experience of a Traditional Latin Mass. I was confused but ultimetly it felt right!
People who are familiar with my other videos know that I can get a little bit "silly" even in dealing with serious subjects as the Holy Mass... So please don't get offended, I made this with very good intentions!

Oh, Deo Gratias that I stumbled upon a local Latin Mass in my Diocese. We were late for our usual Mass, checked a random parish website, saw a Mass time and rushed to it w/o thinking. It was upon arrival that I was thrown into a world of holy water, incense, silence, and mystery! My faith was turned on its head, and the only thing my mind was shouting the whole time was "WHAT IS THIS!?"

I am laughing at myself because the same happened to me. I presume it was with most us Catholics of the post-Vatican II era who discovered the Mass of Ages.

The difference between Pre Vatican and Post Vatican 2 Roman Catholicism is the way in which they intrepreted the Faith . Pre was based on the historical /social intrepretation vs an attempt to get back to the authentic patristic one. Cultural Catholicism stuck in Trent vs an attempt to get back to the intrepretation of the Church Fathers before the Scholastics from the middle ages had intrepreted it via aristotle and plato. Speaking frankly, none of the Church Fathers would have recognized it .

I think without meaning to, this video proves that Roman Catholics think their own liturgical expression is the only valid one. Objectively The real historical traditional mass/liturgy is the one practiced by the arimaic speaking Christians of syria and the middle east. A few in the Greek Russian Church would like to assert the same claim, however the Liturgy as practiced in that tradition is according to Constaniople. The Framework is there but with additions made by the Byzantines.
