Fallout 3 - Infinite headwear glitch

A simple and usefull glitch.

IMPORTANT: Chinese Stealth Suit is ALL you need for this one.

Firstly equip your character with the suit, then do the same with any headwear you want. If you keep equiping more headwears, previous ones won´t unequip so they are cumulative (AND their bonuses too ^^) while chinese stealth suit is equipped.

Once all the setup it´s done, you can replace Chinese stealth suit for another armor and all the previous headwear won´t unequip.

Nope, it was only an example of how CHA (and any Special) is increased with this glitch.

laso ppl there is a couple variations of this glitch, one is that if you have 2 of the SAME type of hat with stat boosts you can stack it, for example a hockey mask has a stat boost of 5 unarmed, now if you find another hokey mask what yo do is equip one of them and repeatedly select the 2nd one, it wont show it as equiped BUT the game takes it as you equpped it allowing you to stack up to 100 (or 10 in all specials if yo hav the hats) also note unarmed ca go past 100

all i need in fallout 3 is, as follows: Enclave Hellfire armor, T51-B Helmet, & my trusty Xuanlong Chinese Assault Rifle. Excess equipment: Tesla Cannon, Shishkabob, stimpaks, adapted biogel, alien epoxy.

True but what if I want to wear to wear it with Leoduxs hockey mask and a power helmet? I can't do that without the glitch.

@TCCX360 The only headgear that gives a luck bonus are the lucky shades and three dogs head wrap. They can allready be worn together with out this glitch.

@TCCX360 I can not see any reason why you would not wait to do that. I mean a +1 bonus to an attribute is hardly much compared to all attributes at 10. And then ofcourse using the skill books and every thing else to get 100 in every skill. I mean when your talking the difference between creating a godly all maxed character vs. an early +1 to every attribute I just dont see why you would not wait.

@kurisu925 True but you have to get to level 30 before you can pull that off and it requires waiting a long time before getting the bobble heads.

For those who want those effects sooner and don't want to wait so long to get the bobble heads this trick works very well.

The Max Value of DR is 85 which is something you can reach without this glitch. The glitch just makes it much easier to get there. The main use of this glitch is to gain the headwear stat bonuses like +Luck and +Charisma

this does work but the DR wont stack so don't think you'll be armored god not getting hurt.
