This should be watched in high defenition too clearly see what they're saying. Warning, you might get a view of the global warming debate you hadn't considered before.

Transcript:
Guy1: Humans have drastically influenced the climate and sped up global warming. Just look at how hot the earths getting.
Guy2: The earths temperature fluctuates all the time. Heat waves and ice ages happened long before humans.
*Graph of world temperatures*
Guy1: Are you kidding me?! We need to invest in alternative energy sources and quench our reliance on fossil fuels, thus ending our huge CO2 footprint and minimizing out influence on global warming.
Guy2: You're a freaking idiot! We should invest in alternative energy sources because fossil fuels are running out, and we should lower our carbon footprint because current CO2 levels cause tens of thousands of respiratory deaths a year.
Guy1: Well if we agree that we should invest in alternative energy sources and lower our CO2 levels then why the hell are we aregueing...?!
*Meanwhile at the 'Headquarters of all the worlds media'*
Guy3: Shit. Mark, they're figuring it out

  • Respiratory deaths from CO2?

  • @flyoverjoe in 2008 Stanford scientist Mark Jacobson, (professor of civil and environmental engineering), created a computer model which linked carbon dioxide to human mortality. "Worldwide, upward of 20,000 air-pollution-related deaths per year...may be due to this greenhouse gas." In December of 2008 the study was accepted into the Geophysical Research Letters. Read about it here.

  • @chickurken Thanks.

  • There is enough oil and natural gas to last many hundreds of years and enough atomic energy to last millions of years.
