Yes and No. What I've noticed is that in the 80's and early-late 90's Monster Truck racing was 90% competition and 10% entertainment. People were out to win and sponsors were out there like crazy.

It's different now because MONSTER JAM is ran by an entertainment company, so most of the competition feeling is gone. Howver there are MT series that do what the 90's racing series do....and STILL do the stuff you will find in monster jam.

  • You knoq I hate to say it but monster jam today seems like professonal wrestling on wheels. I guess since it's more of attracting the younger crowds because you sure as hell don't see sponsers like Budweiser or Camel sponsering these events anymore. I'm sure a lot of guys my age would remember the old Camel Mud and Monster series that ran from the mid-late 80's into the early 90's....

  • @Mistertbones he is actually a very accomplished player

  • Thanks for the memories. I remember as a kid i always wonder why they had girls dancing ha ha. I guess i know now. Man Sergent slaughter can wail the guitar ha ha

  • Damn, over 20 years old, gotta love the old school NHRA

  • I've got this VHS. I got it from my big brother.

I see most of the credits have been cut out!

  • The ratio of early-mid 80's and early 90's videos, to actual and rather large events that took place during that era must be like 1000:1.

guess what im sayin is, they didnt make enough videos back then

  • big,bad,blown

  • this song should be in guitar hero game

  • ahh how i miss the 80s. this movie is about as old as i am! i rented it every day at the local party store and took it home, they couldnt rent it out to me anymore because i had worn out the tape and it wasnt useable anymore!
