This is my first video on Ubuntu. This is just to show that you can play Star Wars KOTOR on Ubuntu. It can be easily installed with PlayOnLinux. Be sure to get a CD crack to play it. In the game the sound works well. I am just new to Record My Desktop.

I am using Wine 1.3.5

  • When logging in to Ubuntu (where you type in your password) there will be a drop menu at the bottom of the screen that says "Ubuntu." If you click it you can see an option called "Ubuntu (Classic)". This is the GNOME GUI without Unity on 11.04. Hope it helps!~

  • @theatredev Thanks

  • If you really don't like unity you can get arch linux. I believe it has the same desktop as old ubuntu. But I agree unity sucks.

  • Yeah I don't like the Unity ui, but ubuntu is still great without gnome. It still has the apps, wine, amazing speeds, and runs on all my old celerons and pentiums. you would be surprised what you can put linux on!

  • @D4rth3P0 Glad it works :)

  • Man I hate unity.
