Thanks, this a quite good account. Interesting to observe that it took a second world war to make US diplomacy adopt the hard line against Germany, which had been recommended by France in 1919.
@MagicMutilator6000 I'm not even saying misinformed. It is just imho that the reason for the wars (justified or not and without blaming anyone) are left out almost entirely, ww1 and ww2, and people just learn 'Germany wanted to rule europe/ the world' period.
@MWcrazyhorse yeah i guess some of us might've been misinformed, i had family that lived in the former soviet union. the jewish elite might've had something to do with it. maybe they just want you guys to pay reparations forever. Well then again i did hear many stories of germans coming to live in eastern europe, and contributing to the society and integrating without any problems.
@MagicMutilator6000 ye "the evil Germans" or even just "the evil nazis" is how history depicts it, yes Hitler was a dick but then again so was Stalin and Churchill killed many civilians by turning German cities to rubble.. well I'll give you 2 fun facts just on ww2. #1 Hitler never even had a majority (untill he killed the political opposition ofc), meaning the people didn't even elect the cunt. #2 when the allied forces marched in to Germany the people celebrated them.
@MWcrazyhorse damn the thirty years war you say? i didnt know it was that big, yea i guess germany did suffer severe consequences in both world wars. before those two wars germany was considered to be such a happy nation. well i guess right now germany did do a lot to make up for the history, i never met any germans so it's not easy for me to judge the nation's character without knowing it's people.
@MagicMutilator6000 angry? wouldn't you have been? you know the 30 year war? It wiped out half of Germanys population. Noone ever came to our aid and many wars were forced upon us including ww1. yes the emperor went into it willingly, but he too did not see the secret alliances and the consequences. the german people however ultimately overthrew the emperor and declared peace by surrendering. Versaille was our thanks.
it was inevitable the people at the time would vote for a radical party.
@MWcrazyhorse yea you guys probably suffered hard, but why did germany start such unjustifiable war to begin with? you have to admit germany used to be a pretty angry country
loyd and woodrow sure it's easy to be forgiving when your country barely lifted a finger, europe suffered great losses, america didnt really lose much.

@MagicMutilator6000 and Germany did not? ofc you wouldn't see that, because the same treaty of Versaille sais it was our fault.
