Getting offended with someone for disagreeing, or in this case, correcting you, is moronic, wouldn't you agree?. Now, this song would fall under just being a ballad, no particular genre. Almost every genre in America comes from the blues, so of course you can say it has element of the blues, but that doesn't make it the blues. Rap has blues elements, is that the blues too? It is according to your logic.
