I had the most amazing Icelandic experience in the summer of 2010. I rode Icelandic horses for 10 days around the beautiful Snæfellsnes Peninsula. I have about 5 hours of raw video footage that I have tried to compile into this short video. So behold - the best of my 2010 holiday in Iceland!
And what better to accompany the video clips than the very best of Icelandic music in the form of the amazing Múm and their dreamy song "Green Grass of Tunnel". We travelled with Hreinn Þorkelsson of Sagnaslóð (http://www.sagnaslod.is) and I would like to recommend this outfit warmly! We had a wonderful time and the horses were marvellous! Super hardy and super smoothly gaited.
