0-50 in 8 seconds. This is what a turbo sounds like on a Jetta. So when you buy a jetta you will know How fast a stock jetta really is.

Only mods are reversed Forge DV (diverter valve) , short-ram intake, and Forge TIP. Stock Exhaust.

  • fail on this guy if it takes you 9 seconds to hit 60, i have an 02 1.8T and stock they do 0-60 in 7.2 seconds, so you shift like a girl, now on a stage 2 unitronic tune, 2.5" turbo back, neuspeed pflow, forge 007, forge TIP, forge TB hose, DV relocation its much faster. learn to shift because with those mods and starting out at only 150hp you should still be alot faster than 9 seconds...fuck a geo metro can do 0-60 in 9 seconds

  • 02 jetta has the better turbo, i was shifting to wear i was burning out in 2ndgear, 01 jettas are the slowest until they get chipped. and i did not have any of those mods. Shifting is not the problem. i'll make a new video sometime... I need to install my last mod, the FMIC.

  • +1 currbag... i just sold my z28 and got an 02 jet1.8t and it spikes at 11-12 and holds 10...and 0-50 in 8 sec my ass...stop shifting like a little girl. learn how to launch and slap second and see how much time it'll shave off instead of wasting time driving around reving the engine lol

  • your car has a better turbo. I spike at 18psi now that i am APR chipped. i made this vid when the car was stock but a intake. I'll make a new vid sometime... and let you know. ha.

  • Two questions. First, what kind of DV is that and is it on regular or backwards? Second, I like your boost gauge, is it the pod that is centered or off to the right a bit, and what kind of gauge?

  • search, newsouth performance for the gauge and center pod on their website, search forge 007 diverter valve. backwards dv

  • this is a older generation jetta because ur boost is spiking at like 8 and holding at 6!! that must be so wack man LOL. I have the 02 1.8t which was the next step up to 180HP. I just installed my gage and the car is completely stock.... I spike at 13 and hold at 10 PSI

  • i'm gonna invest in APR soon enough.

I just got the timing belt kit done. 700bucks out the window... at 70,000 miles. Waiting for my tax refund as well... everything takes time.

    this is a 2001 jetta

  • is this a pre '02 jetta i noticed the psi only goes up to about 8? u should invest in an apr or giac chip haha you'll love it

  • true, you should post a Link to show an example of one. I know most of them are bad for the Vws...
