@1returned I agree completely....As a young man who turned 12 in 1970 and therefore 21 in 1979 I am SOOOOO thankful for the music of that era in such a monumental time in my life. As a man in his 50's now, I have grown daughters who love the music of this era more than contemporary....we were so fortunate and so lucky now to be able to revisit it with the advent of YouTube!

I wanna tell ya amen!! That was the era of my youth and I feel it has been unmatched in rock music for sure!!! There are precious few today that are even good much less really good. (In my opinion only of course)

I have said it before and it is my firm belief the 70's offered the most magnificent selection of quality and styles of music. Absolutely stellar artists. Even disco was during the 70's. The Doors, Zeppelin, CSN&Y, Who, Beatles, Stones, BeeGee's, Hendrix, Joplin, my god, we could go on forever. A wonderful decade.
